The Flavours of Latin America Pop Up

On Saturday 17th June, we are delighted to be participating in the La Clave Latin Festival, which is bringing the best of Latin American culture in London to the old Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End. For one night only, we’ll be serving a special five-course tasting menu of the Flavours of Latin America in the magnificent 1930’s wood-panelled main committee room of the building, which will be transformed into the style of a 1940’s Cuban ballroom, with elaborate decoration and live background music.

The festival as a whole will infuse the whole local community for one weekend with Latin spirit, and will bring the best Latin music, dance, film, theatre, literature and sport to this iconic venue. There will be live musicians performing throughout the afternoon and evening, a ballet performance by world-famous Fernando Montano, tango and samba performances and workshops, talks and screenings of prize-winning Latin films, and all sorts of other events to watch or participate in. Our pop-up dinner will start at 7.30pm, starting with a welcome cocktail and then five courses showcasing the best of Latin American Flavours (see below – though of course we can adjust the menu to suit guests’ dietary requirements), with musicians playing mellow Latin music on stage whilst you are dining. Later, some of London’s top Latin DJ’s will be hosting ‘The Big Latin Takeover’, an exuberant after-party in the 1000-capacity main hall of the building, with dancing until 2am. Your ticket for our special dinner will include free entry to the after-party, which otherwise would cost £10.
